MEET DR. EISBACH
Dr. Karl Eisbach, originally from Dubuque Iowa, graduated from the University
of Iowa Medical School in 1971. Following medical school, he completed a two year
general surgery residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan in preparation for a four
year residency in otolaryngology (ENT) and facial plastic surgery at the University
of Iowa.
Fulfilling a military obligation brought Dr. Eisbach to Kirtland Air Force
Base in Albuquerque, NM where he now makes his home. In 1979, Dr. Eisbach joined
the Lovelace Clinic where in 1987, he established a new Division of Cosmetic and
Reconstructive Surgery and became its chairman.
While establishing a nationwide practice, he has actively participated in his
professional organization directing pro bono trips to treat children in foreign
countries with cleft lips and palates.
Recently, Dr. Eisbach was inducted into the prestigious Founder's Club of the
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, becoming one of
only 84 members in the country.
Dr. Eisbach is married and enjoys gardening and cooking.
